چکیده
The olive fruit fly, Bactrocera oleae, is a major pest of trees in several areas the world. Testing novel preventive methods against B. oleae infestations paramount. use particle film eluding and avoiding oviposition one main strategies adopted by growers; however, choices are often limited to kaolin. Under field conditions, we tested efficacy compounds, including films, for their effectiveness as deterrents oleae. trial was conducted from July October 2021 an orchard located central Italy. One variety, Borgiona, selected sprayed with propolis, rock powder, kaolin, mixture propolis kaolin water (control). Laboratory analyses were study effects treatments on maturity index. As per trial, powder caused reduction infestation respect control (water), similarly Moreover, exhibited best results among all treatments. When mixed films showed higher protection than when applied alone, suggesting synergistic effect, demonstrating interesting role adjuvant. No delay noticed. Our indicate that products have potential be incorporated into management programs although possible side physiology require additional investigations.

Olive fly is the most dangerous pest in olive groves worldwide. Therefore the study of the most susceptible and resistant cultivars to olive fly can bring new information to diminish the olive flies harmful impacts. The main goal of the present study is to verify the olfactory response of olive fly to olive volatiles from five native Iranian cultivars (Fishomi, Mari, Rowghani, Shengeh, and Zard...

The olive fruit fly, Bactrocera oleae (Rossi), is an economically important and endemic pest in olive (Oleae europae) orchards in Turkey. The aim of this study was to determine olive fruit fly infestation in different olive cultivars in the laboratory. Olive fly infested fruits were collected in Çanakkale province to establish wild fly population. After having reproductive olive fly colonies, 1...
متن کاملAcetobacter tropicalis is a major symbiont of the olive fruit fly (Bactrocera oleae).
Following cultivation-dependent and -independent techniques, we investigated the microbiota associated with Bactrocera oleae, one of the major agricultural pests in olive-producing countries. Bacterial 16S rRNA gene libraries and ultrastructural analyses revealed the presence of several bacterial taxa associated with this insect, among which Acetobacter tropicalis was predominant. The recent in...
